Looking for a career path, real autonomy along with the tools essential to succeed? Then you’ve come to the right place. We invite you to explore the job opportunities at ATS, and join the ranks of people who share a common desire--delivering the best service in the industry.

On the first day of employment with ATS, employees are given the option to participate in benefit plans that provide choice and flexibility. Recognizing individual and family needs can vary greatly, our plans and programs are built to accommodate our diverse employee population. We are committed to ensuring our benefit plans are affordable and comprehensive.

Depending on the coverage level that’s right for you, ATS offers various health insurance options (medical, dental, vision). Through our provider, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, our employees are encouraged to use the free 24-hour nurse hotline and convenient online tools including: provider finder, cost-comparison tools, health assessments and advice. Employees can also save money and take advantage of our free mail-order generic prescription program. To help keep our employees healthy, preventive care and wellness programs are key components of all of our plans.

Employees are eligible for immediate enrollment into our company-sponsored 401(k) retirement plan, managed through Merrill Lynch. Both pre-tax and Roth contributions are available, allowing our employees to choose a plan that best suits their financial needs. Employees contribute to their account through payroll deductions.

ATS provides life insurance two times the employee’s annual salary and basic coverage for the employee’s spouse and children. Employees have the option to purchase affordable supplemental life insurance through our provider, Guardian. ATS also provides both short-term and long-term disability coverage as well as optional (employee-paid) accident and critical illness insurance. All provided to give our employees peace of mind.

As a continuous improvement company, we are committed to supporting our employees’ drive to succeed. That’s why we offer up to $5,000 annual tuition reimbursement for accredited college courses.

We offer two weeks of vacation annually, 10 paid holidays, sick time and a variety of work schedules, allowing our employees to take the time they need to unwind and reenergize.

Our flexible spending account offers up to $3,000 annual tax-free savings to be used on medical expenses and up to $5,000 annual dependent care expenses. And employees can take advantage of the many money-saving offerings provided through national corporate discounts (hotels, amusement parks, car purchases, etc.).

Our employees’ and customers’ safety is our top priority. We provide uniforms, proper personal protective equipment, extensive safety training and annual reimbursement for safety shoes and safety glasses.

Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available via a 24-hour hotline. The EAP provides free, confidential assistance for a variety of personal or professional issues, including: stress, financial challenges, work-related issues or marital and family problems.

Developing People

Talent management and people development are top priorities at ATS because great leaders and great people create great results. Our focus on continuous improvement means providing our employees with the tools to improve their careers. That’s why our commitment to training is so important. ATS offers unlimited opportunities for continual learning and advancement, including: leadership programs encompassing classroom and on-the-job learning, as well as a young professionals organization.

SkillPoint originated out of ATS’s need to provide continuous training for our maintenance technicians. In early 2014, we acquired Learn Maintenance to expand our existing training program to include over 300 hands-on training stations and over 70 unique course offerings. From basic electrical training to advanced CNC and PLC training, ATS provides the training to help you be successful.

Founded in 2014, ACE is an affinity group for ATS employees 35 years old and younger. ACE was formed for young employees to learn more about the organization, build friendships and volunteer together in the community. In addition to professional development events in the office, ACE members play on recreational sports leagues, arrange lunch outings and participate in charitable events. Recently the ACE team even went skydiving! The ACE Young Professionals adds a truly welcoming atmosphere to ATS.

The Blaudow/ATS Leadership scholarship at Southern Illinois University is designed to educate the next generation of technical leaders for America’s future. Recognizing the shortage of manufacturing leaders, Richard Blaudow, founder, CEO and Chairman of ATS, created this program with his alma mater to ensure that U.S. manufacturing continues to thrive.

This program is the best transfer scholarship program in the state of Illinois and is open to out-of-state students as well. The program seeks to prepare the most talented community college students for a fast-track career as a leader in manufacturing.

Recipients receive an $18,000 scholarship to be applied towards tuition and an opportunity for a paid summer internship with ATS. This opportunity provides real-world, hands-on experiences as well as leadership training, preparing students to compete for top jobs after graduation. Southern Illinois University College of Engineering offers Bachelor’s degrees in several accredited programs including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering technology, and industrial technology.
